The BatteryMinder 1500 is a great choice for this task, but here are some things to think about. If you will be using this on the house batteries, you will need to use the battery disconnect since this charger only has a 1.5 Amp output. On the engine battery(s) as long as there are no large parasitic loads (ie gps, backup camera, ect..) plugged in and using power that may exceed that 1.5 amps. I have engine batteries in my motorhome that are 10 years old and still going strong with the use of a batteryMinder charger plugged in when we are not traveling. Even better is a lawn mower battery that is going on 15 years. I have been super impressed with the BatteryMinder chargers.
