According to the manufacturer, this product can stick to anything, however the awning guard, part# 60099 StickNBond, is designed to stick directly to the awning. It should cover the part of the awning that is exposed after it is rolled up. Be careful, if you stick it to both the trailer and the awning, your awning will not roll out.
