These units go based on the amps in your RV, if your RV has a 30 amp you would want to go with the 30 amp unit and same with the 50 amp. You can use these on any park power but if it is not the same amp. then you would need to have an adapter. For example if your RV is a 50 amp then you would use a 50 amp surge protector and if the park power is 30 amp then you would need an adapter to go from 50 amp to 30 amp.
