As an RV'er myself and having suffered a low voltage situation that took out my AC unit on a summer vacation prior to surge protectors becoming almost a necessity, here are my thoughts. I would only look at lower end surge devices that strictly provided protection from lightening strikes or high voltage power surges if I stayed at the same campground all season and knew had very consistent and reliable power. In almost every other case I would recommend a surge protector that shut power down during low/hi voltage situations or when the power is improperly wired to the campground power post. The best unit in these cases for your unit is the Progressive EMS PT30C 30 amp energy management system which is portable and does not requiring any wiring. --> https://www.rvupgradestore.com/Progre...
