On the Fan-Tastic Create-A-Breeze (Model 8000/1200 style), the interior bug screen is a Pop N Lock screen. It’s not screwed in - it snaps in/out.
Remove it-
Turn the fan OFF.

Find the small finger tab / lip on the screen ring.

Put fingers under that tab and pull straight down firmly.

Brace the control panel / housing with your other hand while you pull so you don’t crack the plastic.

Once the first snap lets go, the rest will pop free.

Line it up and press up evenly around the ring until it snaps back in.

They can be tight from age/dust. The first removal usually takes a hard pull.
