It is close to astro turf in style, but has a soft bristle so it is nice to walk on in bare feet. I cannot guarantee it would last, but I have had one of these rugs for a few years with weekend use and it has held up pretty well. I would think you would get a summer out of it, although it would probably fade in direct sun light every day.
