When choosing a weight distribution hitch you want to go by the weight capacity it is rated for because you have an 800 lb tongue weight the Eaz Lift 48752 Recurve R3 Weight Distribution Hitch 1000 Lb Rated would be a good choice. If you were to go with the Eaz Lift 48731 Recurve R6 Weight Distribution Hitch 600 Lb Rated it does have a maximum tongue weight of 800 lbs but you would not be able to use this one if you added any more weight.
