Yes you can go with a longer cord, but you will need to make sure what you purchase is a data cable and not a phone cable. The data cable contains twisted pair wiring with a RJ11 connector.
Can the remote wire be made longer? 38 foot rv, 110 hookup in left rear, will need considerably more than 14 feet.
50 amp surge protector.
