Inboard Slide-Out Arms are mounted on the edge of the slide-out box -closer to the RV body. Outboard Slide-Out arms are mounted on the outside edge of the slide-out box -further away from the RV body. Often used on larger or heavier slide rooms.With the slide extended, If the arms are closer to the inside trim of the slide box = InboardIf they are closer to the outer corners of the slide box =Outboard
