We have the Atwood on Demand 50K and can't keep it going. Have to remove cover, push the heat senor button.

It only heats may be one day or two, then pops out sensor button. I keep turning down heat, but doesn't help.

Please open the unit look behind the red belt- there is a reed switch you can adjust. Please adjust up or down so the minute the water turns on it starts heating and the moment the water shuts off so does the heat. If it runs 15-20 seconds after the water stops this could be over heating the unit making the heat sensor button pop back out.
