I did some checking and looks like they have upgraded the warranty on this unit to 1 year. I have updated the product to reflect that information. While Roadmaster does manufacturer some very reliable products, even a 1 year warranty really does not cut in today's industry. If I can make a suggestion, I would take a look at the SMI Stay & Play Duo braking system as well. This system works in a simliar manner by adding vacuum to the vehicles brakes giving it a soft pedal and more accurate braking. SMI products have a 5 year warranty.
