TEXA4200 gooseneck hitch extender
B&W Trailer Hitches TEXA4200 Turnoverball Extend-A-Goose Coupler 10''
Hitch Couplers
Our Mirage 8x16 trailer coupler sleeve has the pin hole drilled at an angle which puts the coupler extension off by this same angle. The predrilled TEXA4200 is drilled at 90 degrees to the orientation of the extension. Should we have the coupler sleeve redrilled at a different level to align with the extended coupler or is there another option to consider.

So if I understand you correctly the coupler sleeve on your trailer was not drilled at a 90 degree angle. I am assuming the origional hitch that was provided by the trailer mfg'er was also off by that same amount. That sounds like a mfg'ing error and should be corrected by the dealer or mfg'er. It is hard to say if you drill the hole at the correct 90 if that weekens the sleeve in any way or creates a problem with the movement in the hitch extension.
