Suburban hot water heater model sw6dm my issue is it heats both on gas and electric it's not getting hot enough (Electrical)

So if I understand you correctly, both sides of the system are working correctly, but the water just does not get hot enough. I have heard that some RV manufacturers used 120 degree rated temperature thermostats to avoid scalding issues and could be the issue if water temperature has always been a problem. If so, we have the 140 degree thermostats available.
