Am I correct in assuming the EM is for motor homes and the NE is for trailers?

EM IS FOR MOTOR HOMES OR OTHER TYPES OF TRAILERS. THE REAL DIFFERENCE IS THAT FOR SAFETY IT IS MANDATED THAT THE DOOR IF YOU ARE RIDING IN THE RV HAS TO HAVE THESE METAL PINS IN THE LOCK. THAT IS THE EM. THE NE DOES NOT HAVE THOSE PINS BECAUSE TYPICALLY THESE ARE USED BY A CAMPER..NOT SOMETHING YOU DRIVE IN.�

You don't charge the rvhw32. It plugs in to a 12v receptical I the towed vehicle. It has LEDs and we have had no problems with running down the battery�
