A year ago I bought an identical looking light and mounted it outdoors. After a few months it was full of water and failed. Has the design changed to improve the weatherproofing? Can this light be mounted in full exposure to the weather?

Mr Beams design for this product has not changed it has always been a weather tight light. This product has very few weather issues and have found that the issues are created by the products either being defective or the peices have not all been closed up together to make the weather tight seal. I spoke with the owner of Beams and he said that if you would like a replacement for the current one your ordered that if you call them at 1-216-455-0192 and ask for Mia and she will help you with getting a replacement on this item.�
