Mine will stop on occasion, but only when I am operating it on batteries only. I have to let it sit for a few seconds and it will reset. Then I can complete the operation of moving the slide in or out. When I am plugged into a power source, this does not occur. The other thing that may be happening, is the slides may be binding as they have not been lubricated properly.�
