My slides will not go in or out. I have hydraulic slides with the trombetta Solenoid. How do I trouble shoot this to determine if the solenoid is bad or if the motor is bad? I have 14.20 volts to the solenoid, and the same voltage when the switch is pushed. there is no voltage across the leads to the motor.

One important itme you must check is that you have a good ground. Make sure there is no corrosion and that it is secure to the grounding point. If that is good and you have power to the solenoid, but nothing to the hydraulic motor, then the solenoid is the culprit.
