You shouldn't need anything else. The pump comes with quick connect fittings that will fit the 1/2 male pipe fittings on your hose and the filter should fit right in between the pump and your inlet hose.

the pump says it comes with 1/2" threaded fittings - what else will I need to hook up to my 1/2" hose and a remco 25-181 strainer?
