The 3M type A and type C filters are interchangeable. 3M 5614505 Model A Under Sink Replacement Filter RV Water Filters Cartridges
The 3M type A and type C filters are interchangeable. I went from a type A to a type C in my motor home, no problem. The holder for the filter is compatible, the literature from 3M is quite clear. The only thing to be careful about is the type C is about 2 1/2 inch longer than the type A. That was a concern for me because my plumbing around the water filter is pretty tight.
