Are you possibly trying to use the motorhomes charge line on the trailer plug? If so, it most likely will not work. In our tests there was not enough voltage to activate the charging process.�
Will it work with the negative on the dinghy
Will it work with the negative on the dinghy grounded to its chassis at multiple points (as a result, you likely will not have much if any negative current going thru the charge controller; most will flow thru the chassis)?
